STEM Fellowship Competitions

SCHOLARLY WRITING CONTEST

The challenge provides high school students (grades 10-12 or equivalent) around the world with an opportunity to showcase their scientific writing and obtain valuable feedback on their work. Students are encouraged to submit scholarly papers ranging in format from original research manuscripts to literature reviews. The challenge aims to prepare high school students interested in STEM for the world of research and science publishing.

Our newest initiative combines elements of biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics for the construction of difficult abstract and analytical questions. Our mission to equip youth with data analytical and critical thinking skills is represented by our brand-new student-led Interdisciplinary Contest. This contest, made by students for students, encourages mastery of fundamental concepts essential for all those interested in STEM careers.

BIG DATA CHALLENGE

STEM Fellowship aims to develop natural data analysis talents, providing the next generation of students with opportunities and competitions in Data Science Education

WE EMPHASIZE ON FOUR KEY SKILLS

Computational Thinking

The ability to translate aggregates of data into abstract concepts and conduct data-based reasoning.

Cognitive Load Management

The ability to discriminate and filter the information needed to produce successful solutions.

Design Mindset

The ability to create solutions in contexts where only part  of the requirements are known.

Social Intelligence

The ability to participate in the collaborative  construction of solutions.

HIGH-SCHOOL BIG DATA CHALLENGE

Our flagship event provides high-school students, potential STEM students, with an ideal opportunity to develop all four skills mentioned above in a team-based research project

UNDERGRADUATE BIG DATA CHALLENGE

With the Undergraduate Big Data Challenge, undergraduate STEM students have an opportunity to undertake independent research projects that tackle real-world problems with data science tools
