Have you ever wondered what it takes to run a student journal? What are some of the successes and challenges faced by journal editors? What does the editorial process involve?
The University of Toronto recently held an event to answer these very questions – specifically the Student Journal Forum on 24th Jan 2018. The STEM Fellowship Journal’s former editorial board director, Farah Qaiser, attended on behalf of STEM Fellowship, and spoke at the panel session.
In this Medium post, Farah reflects on the key messages from the event, including an overview of the panel session featuring editors from the IDIOM journal, Caméra Stylo, and the University of Toronto’s Medical Journal.
