CONNECT WITH STUDENTS
IN UNDERGRADUATE HEALTH SCIENCE PROGRAMS.
STEM Fellowship and Prospective Medical Professionals (PuMP) have partnered to create PowerUp, a free mentorship program for those interested in pursuing life and health sciences in university. This program will connect interested high school students in grades 11 and 12 with experienced and passionate university mentors. Mentors will conduct one-time virtual meetings (“coffee chats”) with mentees to share university application advice. This year’s application cycle will be different from any other year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and our program will help students navigate these treacherous times successfully.
If you are in grade 11 or 12 and would benefit from speaking with a current university student, apply to be a PowerUp mentee! If you are a university student currently studying in a life or health sciences program, apply to be a mentor! Your time is extremely beneficial to aspiring mentees from all across the GTA.
